At UPrep Charter School For Young Men, we like to fully engage the students in who we are as a whole. We needed to come up with a logo, so we challenged the students to find one that would perfectly represent our school. Thus, the UPrep Griffins were born; and this is why.
Gianni Campbell - 7th Grade (2010-2011) designed the Griffin logo and wrote:
“Here at UPrep, our logo combines the symbolic qualities of two creatures: the lion and the eagle. It’s the king of birds, and the king of beast; with the eagle representing wisdom, and the lion representing strength. Wisdom and strength are what we have at UPrep, and that’s why we call ourselves the UPrep Griffins.”
